WELCOME TO MYCOLD
The Malaysian National Committee on Large Dams (MYCOLD) is a non-governmental Organization and the ICOLD representative for Malaysia which provides a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience in dam engineering. The Organization leads the profession in ensuring that dams are built safely, efficiently, economically, and without detrimental effects on the environment. Its original aim was to encourage advances in the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of large dams and their associated civil works, by collecting and disseminating relevant information and by studying related technical questions.

- To be a professional body that connects between society and government as well as its agencies in implementing national policies, especially within dam-related fields.
- Be the sole representative of Malaysia in the International Commission On Large Dams (ICOLD) and carry out its activities.
- Create and organize studies, produce guidelines / standards or research on aspects involved in dam related fields.
- Produce and disseminate information related to internal issues area related to dams.
- Take care of the general welfare of the members.
- Improving the level of professionalism among members.
